JULIEN COVEY & THE MACHINE: A Little Bit Hurt / Sweet Bacon (ca. ´68* / very rare orig. German issue / FONTANA 269 375 TF / black label with silver top / additional text on the labels: "An Island Record Production" (in Germany the record came out on Fontana, because the Island label wasn´t operating yet in this country at the time - for that reason like all early Island recordings this 7" was released on Fontana) / Covey´s backing group, The Machine, did remain uncredited on the p/s, the group was only credited on the labels / *notable fact: in the U.K. this record had already been released in 1967, but this German issue came out just a little bit later, in the spring of 1968 - it´s of course not a reissue, but the first-ever German issue!)

DESCRIPTION:

the corners and the top of the p/s are somewhat bent, and there are a few small creases at the top / there are a small tear of 4 mm length into the top opening of the frontside and two mini-tears of only 1 mm length into the top opening of the backside / on the right side of the back sleeve there´s a vertical cut of ca. 1,5 cm length in the p/s (in the upper part of the "Mighty Quinn" advert) / otherwise the p/s is in a very níce condition: there´s only a light ringwear on the backside, while the frontside has just a minimal trace of a ringwear / the vinyl has some hairlines on the surface, but there are no deeper "serious" scratches (please note: this is one of those records, which usually you´ll only find in a rather frequently played condition!) / the labels are clean
