Description
I am currently selling off a vast record collection of genuine rarities and collectors items in various genres.
In the past I have given lengthy descriptions of the discs/artist history but it was taking too long. Then it dawned on me it just wasn't neccessary. After all, serious collectors will already know exactly what these records are - casual bidders are hardly likely to be interested or even aware of these great sounds in the first place. So, fellow vinyl-heads I am happy to offer for auction:

Well, talk about your "sleeper" albums. Following her duties as vocalist in the almighty Trees, Juliet Lawson's 1972 solo album sold "modestly" as they say. In fact, to quote Vashti Bunyan on her own masterpiece, "The record shuffled out onto the stage, died quietly, then shuffled off again..." All this despite Juliet's magnificent voice AND having a wonderful gatefold cover featuring that terrific monkey.
And so it remained until about three years ago when certain websites began re-apparaising this work, (Trees had already become hungrily collected) thus causing one or two of the scarce original copies to show up on eBay. Thus, 37 years on, Boo is now properly taking it's bows.
Here is one of the dwindling chances to own an original Sovereign copy.
The vinyl is, quite simply, superb. If this has been played through twice I should be very surprised. It is gleaming, glossy and totally without blemish.
The cover - that delicate, textured pure white gatefold - has but the slightest, mildest evidence of storage. No rips, tears or writing. The green worded spine still stiff and clear.
It is a truly great edition here. Hey Juliet - the monkey smiles again tonight...
