For the Discerning Collector of Rare Funk & Soul:

This is your opportunity to acquire a pristine, Near Mint (NM) 1st Pressing Promotional Copy of Junie’s 1976 Westbound classic, "If You Love Him" (backed with "Junie III").

For collectors of the legendary Westbound catalog, promotional copies are the highly sought-after standard. They were manufactured directly from the first metal masters, intended for radio station play, and are famed for their superior audio dynamics. Finding a promo from this era that hasn't been thrashed by a radio DJ is a significant event.

Provenance & "The Vault" Collection: This 45 is a select offering from a massive, world-class "Open-Box" collection that I am meticulously releasing. These records have been preserved for decades in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.

Detailed Condition Report (Strict Goldmine Standards)

My grading is conservative and focused on highlighting what serious collectors care about. All visual and play-grading is performed under a focused, high-intensity halogen lamp.

• Artist: Junie (Walter Morrison)

• Label: Westbound Records

• Catalog Number: WT-5027

• Pressing Details: 1st US Pressing (1976), designated "Promotional Copy" in blue text.

💿 Vinyl Condition: NEAR MINT (NM)

• Visual: The vinyl is absolute "collector's grade." It retains its original, deep factory mirror gloss. Under scrutiny, only the faintest, trivial dust scuffs are visible—it does not appear to have ever been significantly played. The labels are flawless and vibrant, with sharp text.

• Audio (Play-Grade): If play-graded, this record would deliver silent lead-ins and run-outs, with zero surface noise or groove wear. An audiophile-quality listening experience.

📁 Sleeve Condition: NEAR MINT (NM)

• Description: This copy includes its original, period-correct brown Westbound Records company sleeve.

• Flaws & Wear Transparency: Sleeves from 1976 almost always show some age. In the interest of full transparency: This sleeve is exceptional. The paper is crisp. There are zero seam splits, writing, or tape. A few minor, subtle age freckles exist that do not distract from the visual presentation. It is as clean a copy as you will find. (Note to Seller: Ensure your photo with the price sticker is shown as the 'as-is' state, or remove the sticker and photograph the clean area to match this NM description.)
