JUNIOR'S EYES - Battersea Power Station
A little played and wonderful condition copy of this 1969 UK 1st press prog gem - one of the rarest Regal Zonophone releases

Near mint (NM) condition, jet black sheen vinyl with earliest "1G/1G" dead wax stampers, which really does gleam. Hard to find any marks on the vinyl, even with close inspection under a bright light. - clearly this is a record that has been played only a handful of times. Near mint (NM) condition labels - unmarked except for a single very small and very faint spindle trail next to the centre hole on the side 2 label, further supporting the view that this record has only been played a few times. Excellent plus (EX+) condition front-side laminated flip back outer sleeve with all of the beautiful and iconic art work, colours and text remaining rich and vibrant with crystal clear definition still. The edges, including the original "nipped ends" spine, remain firm with not a scuff mark in sight. The spine is rigid and immaculate with all spine text remaining in perfect and original condition. Each corner remains a near perfectly defined right angle with barely any rubbing at all although there is just a little minor creasing at the bottom right side corner. The only other blemishes are x5 small and very light surface laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine on the front side, and just some non-obvious and very minor intermittent laminate lifting on the top edge towards the front side top right corner. The reverse side is difficult to fault with the flipbacks remaining in great shape and just a few small and very light sporadic laminate creases on each of the top and bottom flipbacks...all very trivial. In summary - outstanding! Superb, near mint (NM)) STEREO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, clicks, interference, distortion or background crackle. This record plays as well as it did on the first day it was purchased, an unbelievable 54 years ago! Great tone with crystal clear vocals and instrumentation and every track a brilliant listen. Comes with original and near perfect condition plain white inner sleeve with correct "PATENT APPLIED FOR" and "MADE IN ENGLAND" horizontal text, and no seam splits, no age discolouration, just a few cm of some very minor (non-obvious) front side top edge fraying, and barely any creasing. Brilliant!
There cannot be many, if any at all, better condition copies of this 1969 1st press prog gem!!

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
