Junior’s Eyes. Founded by Mick Wayne in London, 1968, with Steve Chapman on drums and Honk (John Lodge) on bass, they quickly signed a record deal with Denny Cordell/Tony Visconti Productions. They were managed by Blackhills (T.Rex, Pink Floyd, etc.), who organized the Hyde Park concerts. Junior's Eyes first gig was with Traffic and many other gigs and benefits followed closely, such as the Marquee, Roundhouse and Middle Earth in London and then various venues and festivals up and down Great Britain and Europe including Star Club Hamburg and Beat Club TV in Bremen.
In 1969, they recorded their only album 'Battersea Power Station'. Grom (Graham Kelly) joined them on vocals and Rick Wakeman was added on keyboards. John Cambridge who had earlier been in the Hullaballoos with Mick, replaced Steve Chapman on drums, whilst Tim Renwick was added on guitar.
Before a follow-up could be recorded, at producer Visconti's request Cambridge, Renwick and Wayne provided backing on David Bowie's "Space Oddity" album. With the addition of Lodge they briefly served as Bowie's backing band.

* regarding WLP Generally promo copies of LPs were the first made from the stampers and in some cases were made using higher quality vinyl than the commercial pressings. The designation WLP the label may or may not be white, but will somewhere say promotional copy printed on the label.
(this was phased out in the '80's and promos while still being earliest pressings used stock labels and had some kind of marking or gold stamp on the cover.)

SS - New, still sealed
NM - Like New, no visible signs of wear, no spindle marks.
EX - Almost like new, may have very light spindle marks or very minor scuffs. Cover may have very light ringwear or minor dings.
VG - Not bad, may have light scratches or marks on cover.

SHIPPING INFO All LPs wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in cardboard record mailer. Shipping cost calculated by weight at exact USPS rate plus $2.25 for packing materials, etc.
Attn. US Customers I offer media mail and priority mail (or 1st class if under 13oz) as shipping options. Please be aware that Media Mail from Hawaii to the mainland takes 3-5 weeks (not 4-11 days as it says in eBay and Paypal's prefilled shipping menu) versus 3-5 days for priority and 1st Class mail.
All US shipments include USPS tracking number. Optional Tracking for International shipments available with Registered Mail* ($13.65 extra) or Priority Mail International, which is expensive - send a message if you require international tracking and I will update the invoice.
Insurance available on request at USPS rate.
Combined Shipping available - charge calculated by weight of the package.
*Registered Mail takes a bit longer delivery time because the package is hand transferred at each stop along the way.
