JUST FOUR MEN – That’s My Baby
ORIG Parlophone 45 / R 5208 (UK, Mono, 1964)
Happy to present JFM’s debut single – the point where The Wimple Winch story takes off. I believe the line-up on this single was Dee Christopholus, John Kelman, Larry Arendes and Keith Shepherd. It’s plain right from the off that these guys were very talented songwriters with both sides here worthy of your attention.
The labels are great with just a smidgen of spindle evidence. NO writing or other nasties. All print intact and still vivid.
The vinyl is also very pleasing. There are a few very small and hard to spot marks and lines (all short, fine and unobtrusive). Great shine is maintained both sides and there’s no feelable or extensive marking, no dulling or scuffing. Visually checks in at EX- (Near Excellent) but many would go higher…
IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays extremely well with nothing of any note to mention. So expect NO snap, crackle or pop and no distortion. EX (Excellent) play grade.
Presented in correct vintage company sleeve.
