Description
FLETCHER HENDERSON and his ORCHESTRA are persuasively torrid on this fairly early Vocalion record of "JUST HOT" and "DOWN SOUTH BLUES."
Fletcher's band was hot from the beginning. COLEMAN HAWKINS (tenor sax), ELMER CHAMBERS (trumpet) and TEDDY NIXON (trombone) contribute mightily.
This original brick-red Vocalion 14691 is in sparkling E condition; mostly pristine with a lot of its original shine intact.
