JUST URBAIN “Everybody Loves” RARE 1980 Aussie indie EP KBD punk YOUNG IDENTITIES

Just Urbain – Everybody Loves Just Urbain EP (orig. Australia “Shake Music” STEREO SM-04 / PRS-2815, with picture sleeve & original hand-printed FOLD-OUT INSERT, No. “158” of 200 copies)

Release date: June 1980.  Recording date: April 1980.

On offer here is an ULTRA RARE original issue of the second independently released EP by JUST URBAIN.  There were ONLY 200 COPIES pressed back in the day (confirmed by Rod McLeod), but most of these are long gone.  The recordings contained within these grooves are SNOT PUNK of the highest order from BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA!  This particular disc was obtained from ROD McLEOD himself in 1998.

Members of JUST URBAIN also appeared in the following BRISBANE PUNK BANDS: YOUNG IDENTITIES, BODYSNATCHERS, KICKS, SECTION URBANE and THE PINEAPPLES FROM THE DAWN OF TIME.

THIS PARTICULAR COPY WAS OBTAINED FROM AN ORIGINAL BAND MEMBER, BUT DOES NOT HAVE ONE OF THE SILK SCREEN PRINTED SLEEVES THAT CAME WITH THE INITIAL BATCH OF THIS EP.  HOWEVER, IT DOES COME WITH A BONA FIDE ORIGINAL XEROX COPIED SLEEVE (IN TWO SEPARATE PARTS – FRONT & BACK) DONE BY THE BAND AFTER THE SILK SCREEN PRINTED SLEEVES HAD RUN OUT.  YOU CAN TELL THAT THIS WAS DONE 30+ YEARS AGO BECAUSE OF THE AGE SPOTS ON THE SLEEVE.  THE ORIGINAL HAND-PRINTED FOLD-OUT INSERT IS NUMBERED “158” OF 200 COPIES.
