For auction is JUTTA HIPP "At The Hickory House, Vol. 1" on Blue Note BLP 1515, MONO, 1956. Flat edges, etched "RVG" and "Ear", "767 Lex" address, all indicate original first pressing. See the details on this rare record below:

SOUND: VG 

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The playback on both sides has consistent light surface noise and soft ticks, not ideal, but not overpowering at all, and quite enjoyable. 

VINYL: VG

Visually, the vinyl has numerous light scratches or scuffs. I could not "feel" any of them, and I could not see anything under bright light that appeared deeper than the surface. Again, not ideal, but the "VG" grade is applicable. The playback is also VG, as described above. The record has flat edges. The runouts are etched, and feature the "ear" symbol as well as "RVG" on both sides. Matrix #'s are etched as follows: "BN-LP-1515-A // BN-LP-1515-B"

The labels are very nice indeed, with deep-grooves both sides. The labels feature the "767 Lexington Ave" address.

COVER: VG+ or better

The cover is very nice! The cardboard is stiff and heavy. The edges are solid, with minimal wear. The corners are good, with only minor wear and slight rounding. Front cover has only light ring-wear and is fairly clean and is unmarked. There is a 1-inch ripple in the front right border, 3 inches from the bottom. The back cover is excellent: bright, clean and unmarked.

A very rare record in good condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $150.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
