Jack Bruce Songs For A Tailor LP **GENUINE UK 1st Press** SUPER AUDIO [Ex/Ex-]

Description

An original very 1st press of SFAT on the UK Polydor label. Matrix A2/B2. Note the labels are textured - this is a 1st pressing. The early copies were pressed - heavy! The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover by MacNeill. We also have the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve dated to "099" - code for September 1969 [the 1st onth of release]. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In beautiful condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. The audio quality really is highly addictive - warm with bags of detail and presence. Very little to find issue with here - this record is a BANGER! Crank it and take it all in! All I could detect was a bit of background in the track "BOSTON". Nothing invasive - it just won't play this track quite as darn clean as the rest of the LP. Highly recommended.

Cover (Ex-) Very smart looking indeed - I really like this gatefold presentation. Made out of quality thick card it's still retaining its original rigidity. The front panel looks superb and flat with just one tiny crease in the bottom right corner. The rear looks equally good with just a couple of surface level laminate creases. The interior is looking clean with just a hint of ageing - smart though. Edge wear is slight and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall a very very fine specimen which would be hard to improve upon.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged and a one inch side split. Owners signature top left corner.
