Description
“The Corporate Suite (a musical biography of an American corporation)” composed, arranged and conducted by JACK FASCINATO, commisioned by S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. (makers of Johnson’s Wax). Lincoln Records, stereo. LP: VG++ (or better).
This record came from the collection of a retired exec that worked at MGM Studio’s in the 50’s and 60’s. The record was sent to the exec by and agent over at the Charles H. Stern Agency (famous agency that represents composers and voice over artists for commercials). A note from the Stern executive is written on the paper sleeve. There is no record cover. Also, the record comes with a two page synopsis on what the piece is about.
Jack Fascinato is legendary among record collectors for MUSIC FROM A SURPLUS STORE album, but he also composed over 200 advertising jingles.
I googled Fascinato and couldnt find any information on this record. I dont think it was ever officially released, other than on this private label....
Tracks - FIST MOVEMENT (theme, the new land, our town, an idea is born), SECOND MOVEMENT (production, depression and war, reflection), THIRD MOVEMENT (the challenge, around the world).
The styles of music covered on this album vary - there’s jazz, classical, exotica, pop...everything!
