I am helping us all ride out the Omicron stage of the great global lock-down by listing a pile of clean unusual and fun vintage LP’s.
This will be an auction listing with low opening bid and NO RESERVE.
Here is a nice pressing of Jack Sheldon's PLAYIN' IT STRAIGHT RealTime RT-303 digital stereo 1981 LP. This is a fascinating rare jazz lp cut by the west coast legend and Merv Griffin TV show band leader. After his school house rock days, he assembled a crew of top name old school jazz musicians that had become TV band members in the 60s and 70s. So we get Tonight Show members - and ace players - Joel DiBartolo, Tommy Newsom, Ed Shaughnessy, Pete Christlieb, and Merv bandmate Mundell Lowe, along with Alan Broadbent. The band is top drawer, and they cut this digital recording session - which along with a dbx encoded disc - seemed to be this short-lived label's thing. Also, the labels have 60hz strobe discs printed on them to adjust your pitch.
This is a very nice original US pressing - actually disc is pressed in Germany but the company imported all of their top-quality pressings for US distribution. The jacket is like new - NM. The disc is a very nice copy with full gloss, almost no wear, maybe never had any spins - NM. Very nice copy of this classic Jazz disc.
A nice rare lp . Again, an auction listing with no reserve and low opening bid. It goes what it goes for.
These are lp’s that are extra – duplicates from collections, things I don’t listen to much, etc. They are all in decent shape, and all would sell in shops for more. So, help me make room and take advantage of the low prices, with $4 shipping in the US.

Note: I did for a long time participate in EBay’s global shipping program and for many items I will continue. For the most part, it works great. However, in the recent past I have had more valuable items seized by persons involved in the program, and they reappear on eBay with higher prices and the sellers will reuse my photos and descriptions. This is happens frequently enough and is well documented on-line for anyone to investigate. For some items I will no longer use this program, and that will be noted.
