And while you're only here because you're curious about the tool that thinks they can can finagle that kind of dough out of your miserly, acetate-fonldling hands, you came to FeeBay for a reason, and perhaps those $350 price tags are looking pretty sweet about now. Let's pause for a moment.
Third Man Records put these up for pre-order through its subscription service "The Vault" yesterday, to allow its most ardent fans and most voracious flippers first dibs on this pretty piece of tat. Pre-orders were limited to three per member. THREE. And true to form, the magnificently mischievous staff at TMR have coyly refrained from announcing an actual pressing number. Oh don't they just love to watch us writhe. How delicious!
Now I'm no mathematician, but I'm gonna say that these pretty babies - which retail for $20 - are going to be around for a while, and in good numbers. Do you need this record? Yes. But how you come to view it in the long term is up to you. Do you want to make sweet, sweet love to this record for all your days, and twice on Tuesdays? Or would you like to rue the day that you ever shelled out your Benji's to Paypal? The choice is yours to make.
