Description
BLUE NOTE VINYL ORIGINAL PRESSING!
Seldom seen in UK auctions is this beautiful ORIGINAL PRESSING of Jack Wilson's post-bop classic, Easterly Winds (Blue Note BST 84270), recorded with a sextet including Lee Morgan & Jackie McLean among others. This is one of the original Liberty pressing variants of this title (the specific label variation is in the Discogs link below). I have fully play-tested the vinyl, so my grading is based on how the record actually sounds, as well as how it looks.
Vinyl is graded in Very Good++ condition - there is a nice quiet soundstage throughout the music. VAN GELDER is present in the vinyl deadwax. Visually, there are just one or two blemishes which don't affect the audio on my system.
The original Liberty cover is strictly graded in Very Good condition, due to ringwear on the front & back, and corner/spine dings & wear (visible in photos). The back cover has an 'Audition Copy' stamp, which you may choose to view as a feature (i.e. earlier vinyl pressing) or a bug (tricky to read the sleeve notes)!

Note that I separate the vinyl from the outer sleeve for postage to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me, and in the way I'd like to receive them.
All items are play-tested throughout, and I strive to be comprehensive and fair in grading descriptions. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to help.
