Description
This framed gold record was presented by Imperial Records to WLS Radio programmer John Rook after the 1969 release went ‘Gold’ selling more than 1 million copies. The song went to number 4 on the Billboard 100 chart. The frame measures 13.25 inches across and 17.25 inches high. Still has original backing paper and a vintage hand written label with the call letters of the competition radio station, WCFL.
I do not have any history about this record. It was given to me by a friend who worked in the radio industry. Note the presentation plaque has fallen loose but is still under the glass inside the frame. The fabric in the frame also shows savage from water, but I do not see any signs of mold or rot. The frame does show damage from being moved around for many years.

I attempt to ship within 2-3 business days of recieving confirmed payment. Ebay will contact you when the item has shipped and provide a tracking number. If something causes an item to be shipped slower than indicated, I will contact you via email to let you know. I ship via USPS or UPS if requested and always with delivery confirmation and insurance.
Shipping price is calculated based upon size/wight over flat rate services. Payments are only through PayPal and eBay authorized services. I cannot accept cash/checks.
