Near mint vinyl on this Jackie McLean Blue Note monaural original LP “It’s Time” (Blue Note BLP 4179, New York USA address, “ear” and Van Gelder in dead wax.
This copy has deep groove labels although the Goldmine Guide To Jazz recordings does not mention that it came with deep groove labels.
The musicians are: Jackie McLean (alto sax), Charles Tolliver (trumpet), Herbie Hancock (piano), Cecil McBee (bass) and Roy Haynes (drums).
The tracklist is: Cancellation/Das’ Dat/It’s Time/Revillot/’Snuff/Truth.
The LP looks and plays near mint. I was very pleasantly surprised that a small scratch mid way in the first track on side one plays through on my system with virtually no audible notice. Otherwise there are just a few light marks. The cover (no cutout) shows some wear primarily on the seams and some light ring wear but the graphics and credits are clear. The original price tag is on one back corner. I rate the cover as VG+.
