Stereo. This is a First Pressing with the VAN GELDER machine stamp in the Deadwax/Trail-off.  What's interesting is the beautiful inner Blue Note sleeve states: "27 Years Blue Note 1939 - 1966 The First Name In Jazz".  This LP seems to be a first pressing in between September 1964 (the release of the Mono) and possibly sometime in mid-1965 as it takes some lead time before this sleeve would be ready for printing for the 27 year celebration in 1966, and the tiered release of the Stereo after the Mono.
The back cover states: Recording by Rudy Van Gelder, as well as, VAN GELDER (in captals) on the Deadwax/Trail-Off. Also, New York USA is on the blue & white coloured label, New York 23 NY on the inner paper sleeve, and the back cover has: 43 West 62st St., New York, NY 10023.
Non laminated back cover. The front is laminated.

The DEADWAX states:

Side Two: (Machine Stamped) VAN GELDER (hand etched) BNST-84218-B.

 

All Records are cleaned and viewed under bright light, as well as cautiously extensively audio check. 

Condition:  * *  The record sounds / plays in Near Mint Condition on Side One. The record on Side Two sounds in Near Mint Condition except for the first cut at the beginning of about a quarter of this first track Wrong Handle which sounds in Excellent Condition with slight surface/in-the-groove low sounds and then the rest of this track is in NM as is the rest of the tracks on this side sound in Near Mint Condition. Throughout the record, there are no finger-feel scratches, no deep scratches, no surface marks/lines, gorgeous bright shiny clean vinyl lustre. The side two track has low secondary surface/in-the-grooves noise of about a fifth of the beginning grooves. Beautifully mastered, full, deep, sound and incredible separation, sounding as if you are there. * The cover is in strong Excellent (Ex+) Condition, no split seams, no handwriting, no creases at the corners, the top and bottom edge show no wear, and the spine is beautiful without wear including any niks nor tears nor frays, the laminated front cover has a slight showing of wear, the paste-on back cover has a bit of wear and slight dis-color at the edges, with the soft patina of historic age. * The Blue Note paper inner sleeve is in Near Mint Condition. No slits, no writing, no tears, no rips. * The Label is in Near Mint or better Condition, no spindle marks.
