Description
Up for auction is an original deep groove mono pressing of the Jackie McLean 'Capuchin Swing' LP on Blue Note Records BLP 4038. The musicians include Blue Mitchell, Walter Bishop Jr., Paul Chambers, and Art Taylor.
Record info:
VG visually with moderate scuffs (more so on side two) but certainly plays better than it looks (more a solid VG+). It plays and sounds great!
Cover info:
VG with solid seams except for a 2 1/2" seam split on top at jacket opening and some moderate wear on top left corner. Overall it's a nice clean cover.
Pressing info:
Original 47 W. 63rd Street label deep groove mono press with RVG initials and Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $12 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $20. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
