1950’s & 60’s Prestige Records Auction
Premium Jazz Collection Purge
Vinyl Condition:OG 1st Press 50th St RVG DG, looks Excellent and playback is NM. Really beautiful copy of this record. Especially for Drapers Tuba action! Wish the cover was better.
Cover Condition:
G+ top seam mostly split, top third of the spine is split missing catalogue number and Prestige, but you can read the title and artist still. Heavy edge wear and back foxing, and 2 tape remnants.
I’ve pulled roughly 40-50 original Prestige Jazz records from my collection to sell. This is a batch of 9 to end Sunday night 4/26.
This selection features a mix of 1st Press Original 50th St NYC Fireworks labels and Bergenfield NJ labels. I will cite the pressing year to the best of my knowledge for each specific listing.
There are some very nice records in this first drop of nine. I am focusing on offering records that are either in superior condition or are the "hard-to-find" pieces that frequently appear on serious collectors' want lists.
Note: The 2nd drop will be even bigger, most likely arriving one week out.
