Hello! This is an auction for a copy of the album Destination... Out! by Jackie McLean on Blue Note, catalogue number BST 84165. This is the rare original 1964 pressing on the NEW YORK USA Blue Note labels with a deep groove on Side 1 and with "VAN GELDER" and the Plastylite "ear" in the runouts. The record with this copy has some mild scuffing and scratching to it, but plays without any skips or sticks. The cover has some significant wear to it, including some splitting that appears to have been repaired with tape and internal patches, some tearing, staining, a sticker, and other moderate general wear. The original "25 YEARS" Blue Note inner sleeve is still with this copy, although it has some splitting and tearing to it. This release notably features excellent performances from the likes of noteworthy jazz musicians Grachan Moncur III, Bobby Hutcherson, Larry Ridley, Roy Haynes, and Jackie McLean himself, of course. This is a fantastic jazz album that deserves a spot in most any jazz record collection, and this release is getting harder and harder to find. Good luck!
