VAN GELDER and EAR
The cover is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition. Still in original shrink wrap,opened along opening edge only. The shrink wrap has a small sticker in top right corner on reverse which reads "specially imported by liberty records Ltd.,under license from and on payment of royalty to the British copyright owners concerned." 43 West Street address on back of sleeve. There is absolutely no bending, creasing or splitting to the card or laminate.The shrink wrap has peeled back at the opening edge on the reverse and there is only slightest of blunting to the top corner,depriving the sleeve of near mint grading. A particularly fine example which would be very hard to improve upon.
The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. It is the original Blue Note advertiser. "27 years of Blue Note."
The record is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition. There is the EAR stamped in the dead wax on both sides and also VAN GELDER. The playing surface is in lovely condition. At first glance near mint,under close inspection one or two almost "apparitional" very, very light small marks can be detected. The labels are near perfect, NO deep groove, under extremely close inspection there are some spindle marks,which again are hard to detect. The record sits perfectly flat on the turntable. A particularly fine example which would be very hard to improve upon.
I have played this record on a quality system and it plays superbly, there is no surface noise anywhere.. Play graded EXCELLENT PLUS/Nr MINT
