Description
Listed is a very solid copy of Jackie McLean's "Lights Out" with Donald Byrd and Elmo Hope. For being 60 years old, the overall condition of this pressing is still very nice. I would rate or grade the vinyl between a vg+ -- vg++ range. Some very light hairline scuffs and lines, mostly from record removal. Has a very nice shine and luster. Label is bright and colorful with the spindle hole in nice condition. There is no sign of warping. The label is rare because the side A songs should be on side B and vice versa. Because of this, there is light marking thru the song titles with the proper song written beside it. Nice rarity which happened sometimes to older LP's back then. All cover seams are fine with common wear on the corners. Cover has lost some of it's shine but still displays nicely with it's black background. Slight edge wear on open side of the cover. Back cover has light discoloration throughout. Crease in lower right with small torn area on the bottom right edge of pasted cover. I rate the cover VG+ with no major flaws. It shows natural age and usage without abuse.
