Description
Original AD LIB USA grooved label issue from 1955, ADL - 6601. Original copy of this super rare hard bob classic, also featuring Donald Byrd and Mal Waldron, very hard to find.
Firstly the run out groove reads ADL 6601 A with RVG etched in the wax also with F90P 9344 1 A1 stamper on side one ADL 6601 B with RVG etched and F90P 9345 1 A1 stamper on side 2. Original USA issue. Microgroove pressing.
Vinyl graded VG both sides, some light scuffs on the vinyl causing some light crackle in quieter passages and some very light pops but no skips or faults causing distortions to the sound. Importantly, playtested, the terrific music sounds bright and undiminished. A very playable copy of a rare album.
Sleeve VG, it has some surface wear and there is light edge wear but the image is strong and the colours bright. There is a 5 inch seam split on the bottom edge from the opening of the sleeve, but nothing is missing and it remains tidy and not distracting from the brilliant sleeve art.
