Jackie McLean New soil w.D.Byrd Blue Note 47W DG mono RVG JazzJackie McLean ' New soil ' BLUE NOTE BLP 4013 (USA) mono - 47W 63rd with deep groove on both sides - labels has no 'R' - cover 47W63rd - on dead wax both sides has printed 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder and has the 'ear' Jackie McLean : alto sax - Donald Byrd : trumpet - Walter Davis Jr. : piano - Paul Chambers : bass - Pete La Roca : drums Side 1 : Hip strut - Minor apprehension Side 2 : Greasy - Sweet cakes - Davis cup Compositions on side 1 are by Jackie McLean and on side 2 by Walter Davis Jr.
Visual grading : record is Good+ to VG- much used has plenty of light surface marks and a few light scratches but none of them is deep or feelable. Clean labels which have several spindle marks and light fading on the titles Playing grading : record is VG to VG+ plays well, better than it looks, with loud and clear sound. Has light occasional background noise audible in quieter parts only and few light occasional tics Cover grading : cover is Good- to Good has wear to corners, edges and to spine which has titles partially redable. Front has right edge lightly worn and has few pieces of cardboard missing in the middle. Back has around the edges evident traces of tape's removal and has general age yellowing FOR US BUYER ATTENTION $ 4 IS NOT THE CORRECT SHIPPING COST , I WILL SEND RECORD OUT FROM ITALY.
