Description
Blue Note BST 84137, stereo. Record has "ear" and "van gelder" inscribedf in the dead wax. Label has New York USA on both sides; 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover. Leader, McLean, alto sax; Grachan Moncur lll, trombone; Bobby Hutcherson, vibes; Eddie Khan, bass; Tony Wiliams, drums. 4 tracks. Detailed notes on the back cover. 1 label has some smearing of the blue coloration. All text on both labels are clearly readable.
Cover: VG 1" split on the top and bottom edge at the insert edge. Several light creases on the front cover. Minor scuff marks on the front cover. Slight aging on the back cover.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are 4 extremely light, surface rub marks. There are 1 or 2 tiny, minor clicks at the very beginning Track 1, Side 1. Also, a very light, static-like click on Track 2, Side 2. These occur only a very few times and are barely audible. The balance of the record has no surface noise. Overall condition is close to Mint. Audibly checked.
