Description
Original deep-groove pressing of Jackie McLean's first session as a leader, Presenting, on Ad Lib ADL-6601. Due to the rarity of this recording, the playing surface will be described in detail: Side 1 has a few very fine hairline scratches, some of which are audible; there are light tics toward the end of Track 1 into the beginning of Track 2, plus a few tics towards the end of Track 3. Side 2 has two surface marks, but plays as new throughout. Both sides have a bright luster with no groove wear. The spindle hole is sharp and unworn. In all, it would appear that the record was played very few times. The cover is in superb condition - bright and clean - with only slight shelf wear. There is the previous owner's stamp at the top center of the back slick, as well as a date stamp - FEB 14 1956 - at each top corner: the stamps are close to the edge, away from print and liner notes.
