Jackie Mclean - Jackie’s Bag Vinyl Mono LP Blue Note 4067

This is an early 60’s USA Blue Note, pre-Liberty, pressing, not a reissue. It has the ‘ear’ on the run off and was recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, January 8, 1961.

I have owned this since I bought it new in the 60’s.

This is part of a collection of about 200 mostly 60’s Jazz Vinyl I have, all purchased new at the time. They have been unplayed for the last 30 years or more (since the introduction of CD’s basically – sorry vinyl fans) and looked after well. They have been stored in a cupboard indoors (not garage or attic) since new (I will be selling the whole collection over the next few months).

Regarding condition, I have just had a listen to this LP and cannot find any audible effects of the couple of very light scratches on the surface. So in terms of audio quality I would classify this is NEAR MINT.
