Jackie Mittoo/Cedric IM Brooks & the Brentford Rhythm Band
"Christmas Rock" b/w "Everyday Skank" 45 rpm 7" vinyl single
This is a rare original Jamaican pressing of this great reggae/ska single, released in 1972(?) on Studio 1. One side features Jackie Mittoo & The Brentford Rhythm Band doing the instrumental "Christmas Rock" (sort of a skanked-up mash-up of different Christmas tunes), and the flipside has Cedric IM Brooks & The Brentford Rhythm Band doing the instrumental "Everyday Skank" (writing credits are to "C. Dodd & C. Brooks," and the playing credit goes to "IM Brooks & The Brentford Rhythm Band"). No catalog number, but the vinyl matrix numbers are (I think - they're very faint on this record): FCD-7966-A/FCD-794--A. In nice shape - clean with only a few light marks. Playback is a little quiet with a light crackle and a few light pops that may have been inherent to the Jamaican pressing.SEE PICS BELOW!

Jacket: N/A; comes in a generic paper sleeve.
