Description

Superb vocal performance from 'Mr Excitement' Jackie Wilson on this 1962 outing, backed with an orchestra directed by Bob Mersey. The guy sings his lungs out in a style that crosses from soul to blues to gospel and back again. 


Great album. The front laminated flipback sleeve is fine on the front with barely any edge or corner wear, and only grades below excellent because of some staining and ringwear on the back. 


The heavyweight vinyl has lots of marks and hairlines but plays through well with a little surface noise that rarely detracts from the music. 


The black and silver Coral labels are excellent, and the plain white inner sleeve (browned with age) is in very good order.
