Description

1965 self-titled album by Jackson C Frank, released by Columbia (EMI). It was produced by Paul Simon, and both Al Stewart and Art Garfunkel attended the recording. The album was recorded in less than three hours in London at CBS Studios.

This album was to be a major influence on many singer songwriters, especially on Paul Simon and Nick Drake with the latter's cover of several Jackson C Frank songs appearing on his recent "Family Tree" LP of early recordings.

The lead track "Blues Run The Game" has been covered by many artists including Nick Drake, Bert Jansch, Sandy Denny, Laura Marling and Counting Crows.

This is an absolutely mint / as new (vinyl and sleeve) unplayed copy of the 2002 Limited Edition reissue by Columbia (Catalogue Number: JCF001) and is highly collectable as it is now long out of print. A rare and perfect example of one of folk music's most important albums.
