Description
Jackson Heights 5th Avenue Bus Vertigo 6360 067 Small Swirl 1st UK Pressing 1972 1Y//1 2Y//1 VO Price Code
Vinyl - Side A VG+ see full description Side B EX Sleeve - EX- Original Inner - VG+ Fully Playgraded
This rare Vertigo Swirl Lp has been fully play graded and for the most part plays excellent with No Skips, No Jumps, No Distortion and very little else to spoil the playback except for a spidery hairline on the last track of side A and 1 other small scratch at the end of the same track. This track plays great until half way through and then a soft tick becomes evident which gets increasingly more evident until the final minute of the song when the other small scratch makes its presence known and results in a double tick.It is a real shame that apart from this the record is excellent. Both labels are clean and show only a few spindle trails. It retains its original Vertigo inner which has a tear to one side neatly taped inside. The sleeve has the VO Price Code to the rear and is in EX condition with No Rips, Tears or Writing. These unlaminated sleeve are very prone to wear but this one has little edge and only very moderate corner wear. The only fault is a crease to each corner of the bus doors which open to reveal the band. These doors are still stiff which is why the corners have creased from indelicate opening. The opening edges are still straight with very little feathering. Overall still a very strong copy of a rare record in the swirl catalogue. Low start auction so the market will determine its worth. Thanks for looking.
