DESCRIPTION: Jackson Heights - Ragamuffins Fool LP.  1ST UK press with 1Y2/2Y2 matrix, "bells and cap" embossed sleeve with pinched in ends to spine, small swirl labels and correct vertigo swirl inner. In pristine condition throughout. This has been my own copy for many years, I have never found better. I have only played it once prior to this listing as its not quite my cup of tea. Please note all postage costs include full insurance, tracking and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 077 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/EX+. Vinyl is pretty much immaculate with a deep dark sheen. Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Music sounds better than EX , must be close to NM, clean, clear, loud.  I could not detect any background sound, even between the songs. Embossed cover is also in absolute top shape. It is firm and square and has negligible edge wear, minimal corner wear (light to one corner prevents NM sleeve  grade) and absolutely negligible creasing.  Fantastic shape and minimal wear to fully legible spine.  Correct original swirl inner is also in  top shape, better than EX. It is clean and white  with no splits or writing and no tears around centre. It has a few small light foxing spots on close inspection. Poly is still securely attached and has no splits. Super clean labels- check out the photos. Maybe 2 spindle lines on each side. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. This is the best copy I have seen of this record. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
