This extremely rare single (only 500 copies) is the much sought after release from zany Adelaide band Jackson Zumdish. While it is listed on websites as a ‘split’ single (i.e. 2 different artists) from all accounts The Popes ARE also Jackson Zumdish. This 1980 novelty / satirical punk record is #6 in Johan Kugelberg's (acclaimed US music author / archivist over decades in the industry) Top 100 list of late 70's/early 80's DIY/post-punk records.

CONDITION: Note : All records (except where Mint) have been vacuum-machine cleaned and fully played on a quality system to determine an accurate grading.

This item will be safely packed and includes a new outer plastic cover.

 

·        VINYL :  Good and more than acceptable. A number of light marks both sides which result in the odd pop here and there but certainly no skips and overall a pretty decent listen. A reasonable pick-up here on what is a very difficult 45 to find these days.

·        Labels : Clean as per photos above.

·        Sleeve : Original plain white cover in excellent condition.
