Description

Jake Holmes 'The Above Ground Sound Of Jake Holmes' US Mono LP 1967 Tower Records Label
Here is the famous but obscure album by U.S. 'folksinger' Jake Holmes, best known as the original source for the song "Dazed & Confused" which Holmes wrote. It was stolen (or 're-interpreted', depending on your viewpoint) by Jimmy Page for the Yardbirds and subsequently Led Zeppelin, becoming one of the Zep's signature tunes. Talk about balls!

Condition overall is F-G:
The cover is F; unfortunately it sustained water damage at some point - it doesn't show much on the front cover, however on the back it caused significant mildew stains on the lower section (see photos). There is some ring wear visible on back as well, and a cutout hole punched through at the upper left.
The LP is VG; minimal spindle marks or signs of wear.
