Description
Up for auction is an obscure piece of Alfred E. Neuman memorabilia. Produced in 1994 by Gunk Records, this is a 45 rpm record recorded by the musical group, Jake & The Stiffs. Of interest to MAD Magazine collectors is the picture sleeve for the record, as well as the label on the record. Both feature the grinning mug of MAD Magazine's Alfred E. Neuman, although an "X" appears on Alfred's forehead. This record features the songs "Pot Belly Pete", "TV & My Baby", and "Lonely Boy". Both the picture sleeve and record are in Excellent display condition, and although I have not played the record, it appears to be unplayed. This is the Red vinyl / Red sleeve variant, of which only 100 were pressed.
