LABEL: Prestige ?– PRST 7397 (1965 Stereo)
TITLE: Out Front!
CONDITION:
SLEEVE: The front cover is clean w/ bright graphics and a little wear. Has a tiny 7/8" tear along the top of the opening edge. The back cover is a strong VG++ w/ a little light wear. The middle of the bottom seam has a 2" split and there is a clean 1" split at the bottom right corner.
RECORD: Retains high original gloss w/ some light surface s. Plays NM / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: So here's your chance to own an original Prestige test pressing! I got this LP and a number of others from a friend who was an old Jazz buddy of label producer & photographer Don Schlitten. Don would give him test pressings of lots of Prestige albums and luckily for me he passed a few along to me! So here's one of them. What they did for test pressings was to paste cover slicks over old covers and this one is one of those, not sure which cover. The sound on this test pressing copy is great!
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records !
