Description

JAKLIN by JAKLIN on Stable Records SLE 8003. This is, in my opinion, THE rarest progressive UK Blues LP of all....in years of collecting I've not seen another. Musically, it's heavier than others from 1969...the first and last tracks are fantastic Cream/Ten Years After blues rock screamers, the rest is very typical of the period.

Anyone familiar with Stable Records (Sam Gopal anyone?) will be aware the pressings aren't the best. Given that, this is a very nice exeample.

Vinyl; a lot of hairlines but no scratches that affect play or stick, click or jump. There is fairly constant surface noise but is not over intrusive. I'd rate it VG+ (admittedly if it were a Decca or Vertigo one would downgrade it to VG). Labels are MINT.

Cover;laminate creases at each corner but no damage or writing. Spine is undamaged and fully legible. A strong VG+++.

 

There probably isn't a mint one of these in existence so therefore a very desirable copy.
