James Bond Moonraker ORIG OZ OST LP EX ’79 L36996 John Barry Shirley Bassey
Original OZ Soundtrack LP released in 1979 on United Artist Records. Cat: L36996.It's a shame the masters for the complete score from MOONRAKER have been lost forever, as this elegant, celestial set remains one of composer John Barry's finest contributions to the Bond franchise. Dame Shirley Bassey returns to favour us with her third and seemingly final Bond song, and while lesser-known than many of the Bond themes, it's positively glorious when compared to some of the ones that followed.
Tracks : Main title - Moonraker (vocals by Shirley Bassey)/ Space lazer battle/ Miss Goodhead meets Bond/ Cable car and snake fight/ Bond lured to pyramid/ Flight into space/ Bond arrives in Rio and boat chase/ Centrifuge and corrinne put down/ Bond smells a rat/ End title - Moonraker (Vocal by Shirley Bassey). There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has a few light scuff marks and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ringwear and a few small surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
