Description
What a smokin' album - perhaps his best later work.
The cover has just a hint of ring wear and wear on the spine.
The vinyl has a lot of trace hairlines and a few visible marks. From playing the album with a denon dl-304 cartridge I found the hairlines to only make their presence known on the lead in groove and between tracks. There are a few marks that sound as a light crackle under the music on the 2nd track on side 2. Overall the music is loud full and clear and most of the record plays easily at vg+ if not ex.
The matrix numbers denote that this is the first pressing from the monarch plant and mastered by the "RL" himself Bob Ludwig.
Both discs had a slight dish warp which will hopefully flatten with proper storage. My vintage table had no issues tracking and the warp was not audible.
VPI cleaned and re-sleeved in audiophile sleeves.
