James Brown, "Please Please Please", 1961 Original Mono King LP 601, Black Crownless King Label.
Vinyl: G+ Many visible scratches that cause background surface noise, but no skips or sticks during playback. The music still retains good sound quality.
Cover: G+ Top seam is completely split. 1" split at opening of bottom seam. Spine is very good with moderate wear. Front cover shows moderate to heavy storage rub marks/ring wear. Name written at center. Back cover has some discoloration near spine.
This copy of James Brown's first King LP plays much better than it looks. This rare LP is an enjoyable listening experience for the collector, but not recommended for the audiophile.
