Description

Very rare original 1961 pressing #635 with Smokin Gun Cigarette Cover. This LP is recorded in High Fidelity and features the King Crownless Black Label with silver print #635. An early recording by the infamous showman James Brown, whose personal life was as legendary as his high energy performances. Try Me shows James Brown honing his act with Bobby Bryd in the band the Flames, before he hit the big time.  This LP is a collection of Singles, B Sides, and out takes from their first album Please Please. It includes I Want You So Bad and Try Me (I Need You) featured on the recording. The record is Near Mint or Almost Mint condition, the album cover is Very Good Plus with some subtle normal wear and a partial split on the bottom right seam.
