Up for auction I have James Cotton 78rpm on Sun Record Company 199 My Baby/Straighten Up Baby.
Visually record is in Good condition. It has scratches and scuffs. Vinyl is no longer shiny. Center label for My Baby is good. Straighten Up Baby center label has its original price stamps which have been crossed off down to 19 cents! This side also has a tiny chip you can see right before the lead in of the song. I've taken a pic of it.
Vinyl actually plays great! My Baby is nice and loud. Not much surface noise at all. Sounds really good for its age and being a 78 that hasn't been professionally cleaned. Straighten Up Baby skips halfway through song right before solo. There seems to be a little more surface noise on this side but I believe its because its a quieter song. When the voice and horns kick in it kicks up to being way more loud and clear.
