Description
This is an initial pressing, including Ravel's "Bolero" on the label (side 1, track 4. The Bomber (Medley) 7:04 (A) Closet Queen (B) Bolero (Ravel) (C) Cast Your Fate To The Wind) and during playback.
Upon its release, the estate of Ravel complained about "Bolero" being included and it was withdrawn. The lp was re-cut without "Bolero" on the song "The Bomber". The jackets with "Bolero" listed were revised; however, many of the original pressed vinyls with "Bolero" on the label and during playback, happened to find their way in the revised jackets, of which this is one of them.
The overall condition of the album is considered excellent plus. Visually speaking, the vinyl is very nice and glossy, with a minor surface mark here or there; however, they are very light in nature. More importantly, the album has been play-graded on my Denon DP-300F turntable w/2M Red Ortofon phono cartridge and sounds exceptional. There is only light surface sound in-between tracks, which is completely normal. If you carefully inspect the spindle wear in the photos of the labels, you'll notice there appears to be minimum wear, which is usually a clear indicator of how often an album has been played.
Also, the condition of the gatefold jacket is excellent plus, with a barely noticeable hint of fading in one specific area (narrow band at top left side of front cover). It is rare to find a copy of this lp, where the jacket is this clean and the vinyl is in equally such fine condition. If you are a fan of Joe Walsh and the James Gang, this lp will undoubtedly meet your expectations.
