Description

Blue Note Blp 5006 8 tracks. Moody , tenor sax; Dave Burns, Elmon Wright, trumpets; Ernie Henry, alto sax; Cedil Payne, baritone sax; Hen Gates, piano; Nelson Boyd, bass; Chano Pozo, conga, vocal; Art Blakey or Teddy Stewart, drums. Arrangements by Gil Fuller . Small red mark like a smeared signature on 1 label in the margin. Very rare edition. Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean. Some moderate aging on the back cover. Gloss finished front cover. Fine condition. Record: VG(-) to VG. Visually the record shows some moderate general wear in spite of the fine condition of the cover. This includes many surface rub marks and 1 small scratch on Side 2. The scratch does not produce any special clicks. . There are some light clicks throughout most of Side 1. Also, Track 1 on Side 2 has some crackling which repeats through the entire track. The last track 2 tracks on Side 2 have only slight surface noise that are audible, but not especially noticeable. Those interested should be aware of the noise that I have described in detail. However, like many Blue Note records, it plays better than it looks. Audibly checked.
