Description
Hello! Up for sale is the DEBUT ALBUM BY James Talley called "Got no bread, no milk, no money but we sure got a lot of love". This is an original pressing from 1974 on Torreon Records, TR 1000.
According to an article found at James Talley com, this album is 1 of the 1000 pressing that he pressed on his own Torreon label in 1974 and handed out for free and asked his local radio stations to play the title song. It wasn't until he was fixing up a Capitol Records VP house that later in 1974 that he got a Capitol Records deal! The rest is history.
That makes this album VERY RARE AS HE PRESSED THIS AND 999 MORE ON HIS OWN RECORD LABEL!! Don't miss your chance to own one of the first ever of the 1000 albums pressed by Mr. James Talley himself!
Cover is in Shrink (only a small portion of the shrink is missing on the back side) and in EX Condition with minimal wear on spine/edges, small crease at the top left hand corner and some light record ring. Vinyl LP is in VG+ condition. It has minor surface scuffs/scratches but they do not affect the album. Minimal background noise, possibly just audible static. Has lots of shine. *The label on side 1 has a crease that seams to have been creased from the record company. Side 2 is fine. Sleeves is generic.
