   For sale is a vinyl record by James Taylor titled "Mud Slide Slim And The Blue Horizon", originally released in 1971s by Warner Brothers with a gate-fold presentation. This record has the original green labels with "Warner Bros. Records" along the top edge and the "WB" shield logo underneath that. These labels were only used between 1970-73, after which the so-called "Burbank palm trees" labels started. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped a logo with two rings, representing a disc, completed by an old fashined circumference guage, completing the "A" of the logo, commonly called "Circles and Stcks", indicating that this record was mastered at Artisan Sound Recorders, located in Hollywood, California. This is a hallmark of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is a generic Warner Brothers Loss Leader promotional record offer and is in Very Good condition with a wrinkled corner, foxing around the edges and a small tear at the top opening. The cover is graded as Excellent because of edge rubs, corner blunts and faint ring wear. The spine has color loss at one corner along with a little paper loss. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny, bright and in a like-new condition without any surface scratches, smudges or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading it as Near Mint, without any surface noise, skips or pops from start to finish. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This is still one of the best copies of this record that I've ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition, especially a first edition with the green labels. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Folk records as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
