Description
James Taylor's debut album on the Beatles' Apple label.
Signed by James Taylor on the front cover - after he played Newcastle Arena in August 1999.
Gatefold sleeve with lyrics (print) 'handwritten' inside
A fantastic album featuring Paul McCartney playing bass. Contains versions of the classic songs 'Carolina on my mind' and 'Something in the way she moves' which are generally considered to be far superior to the later recordings on 'best of' compilations - (these original versions could not be used due to copyright issues).
The Vinyl,
The playing surface itself is in near-mint condition with no visible scratches. It could probably benefit from a clean but as I am a collector and not a dealer, I would prefer to leave that to the buyer. The centre has a slight marking on side one - visible on the photograph.
The Sleeve.
Unfortunately the spine is quite worn but is not split. Otherwise the sleeve is in VG+ condition some wear around the edges but otherwise in great condition.
The inner sleeve
Original, in great condition except for a ~ 4cm split on the bottom edge
In summary you can probably find a copy with a tidier sleeve but it is unlikely to be autographed.
