The title, "WAH WAH", is consistently printed in all capital letters on the spine and in the typographic artwork on the sleeve and labels. The artist is printed as just "James" on the spine and on a paper band around the sleeve, but as "James/Eno" on a sticker on the front of the sleeve. The sticker also says "23 Compositions".

Formed in Manchester in 1982 by Jim Glennie, Tim Booth, Larry Gott and Gavan Whelan. Signing, a year later, to Anthony H. Wilson's Factory label, before being snapped up by the Sire Records Company. Their folksy/indie sound found early cult status, before they became big chart toppers. Well almost, 'Sit Down' reached no. 2 in the UK singles charts, quickly followed by a no. 2 album, 'Seven'. The band split up in 2001, before re-forming some years later.


 "Wah Wah" is one for any serious vinyl collectors.


This particular item is well looked after. This is the Second Pressing. That said there will be the usual marks on the record sleeve.  Also there will be some hairline marks with the record.  Please understand this is not a new reissue but the original pressing so it is more 20 years old.

There are more than 2000 records comprising Classical, Rock and Rock, Folk, Jazz and Pop music. They are mostly the first pressings or second pressing from the era, not the recent reissues which suffer from wrapping and bad sound quality.
