Description
"Mice And Rats In The Loft" by Jan Dukes De Grey. This is the original UK pressing on the Transatlantic label (TRA 234) from 1971. A very rare progressive folk / progressive rock album. The vinyl is generally in excellent condition and the laminated gatefold sleeve is also in excellent condition apart from some minor sticker damage on the front and some minor creasing. The record is housed in a clear plastic sleeve within the outer sleeve and I assume this is original (see picture). You do not normally find this album in ANY condition. On 09-Jul-07 at 10:58:41 BST, seller added the following information:I have just noticed a residue on track one of side two that ( am advised by a potential buyer) is apparently caused by the soft white retainer at the edge of the transparent inner sleeve (this seems to be a common problem with this record). This causes a slight hiss when the stylus passes over this section of the vinyl. There does not seem to be any other surface noise. In addition, there is a slight warp in the vinyl that does not affect play.
