Description

UK LP released on Transatlantic, cat# TRA234.  Matrix A1U/B1U.  First edition, comes with laminated gatefold sleeve with extra clear plastic inner sleeve attached inside.  Record is clean and shows several light and fine scratches which can't be felt.  The labels are clean and show no spindle marks from play.  The laminated sleeve has heavy ring wear and shelf wear rubbing, some heavy creasing, and heavy wear on the corners and edges

Q: Hello, too many vinyls of this 1st press have unpleasant glue stains at the starts of each side as result of diffusion with plastic glued gatefold parts,
please check carefully and let me exactly know about your records - maybe they have same defects?


A: this is a great question and now something new I've learned. so in checking it now there is about 3 inches of a dullness along the outer edge on side one. It goes right up to the first playing groove. I've played it and it does not appear to affect play at all, though there are several pops and static throughout due to the surface scratches as described in my listing. the dullness is also on side two but not as much, I'd say less than half of what is seen on side one. and it does not reach the playing grooves on side two.
